In response to customer feedback, we have improved the thickness of the shoes to make them just right, and increased the number of color patterns available. Each pair is hand-dyed by a craftsman, and the unique patterns add a special touch to your feet.

Each pair is hand-dyed using dyeing techniques that have been passed down since the Edo period.

Using a dyeing technique introduced from England and developed during the Edo period, this pattern is dyed by hand by artisans, one pair at a time, one color at a time. The resulting pattern is different for each pair, giving each pair a unique look. Finished with lively coloring that is typical of HOiSUM.

The texture created by vintage machines and traditional techniques is the warmth of the human hand, something that cannot be expressed through mass production. The craftsman's passion for manufacturing remains as an everyday attachment.

Comfortable to wear and available in a wide range of colors

Made with 63% cotton, it combines the gentleness of natural materials with functionality. The improved thin body fits neatly into any shoes and provides all-day comfort.

The increased color variations are all unique yet easy to coordinate. The vivid patterns peeking out from the bottom of your feet add a subtle accent to your everyday style.
