We will introduce the birth of the Tiger series, the socks that are synonymous with HOiSUM. Please take a look if you are interested, whether you already have them or are considering buying them.
The story behind the birth of the Tiger series
The Tiger series is HOiSUM's iconic product, born in the Year of the Tiger, 2022.
When I started the brand, I had a strong desire to create a signature item that was associated with the auspicious Year of the Tiger.
Combined with the fact that the theme of the season was Hong Kong, we decided to try producing a product with a tiger pattern, and this was the beginning of our Tiger series.
Tiger series list
As this is a representative product of the brand, we have produced many tiger patterns to date. Thankfully, all of the colors have been very well received.
Tiger
This is the basic design of the Tiger series, with many auspicious tigers placed at the feet. It comes in three colors: mint, brown, and white, with a yellow tiger as the main color.
Using this basic design, we have also created a collaborative product with Nara Brewery, which is also very popular.

Tiger 2023/2024
Following the positive reception of the original Tiger Socks, this version comes in an expanded range of colors.
For 2023, we have introduced a new white tiger, with attention to detail such as changing the color of its eyes.
It will be renewed in June 2024 with the addition of new colors.
To express the dynamic tiger, we used a thread called boucle. The tiger print part is made of a soft, loopy fabric.

Lone Tiger
The design incorporates the colors that eye-catching HOiSUM staff would want to wear.
The socks are designed with a special shine, using glitter to create a noble tiger design. In July 2024, a new orange color will be added, bringing the total to three colors.

Tiger Hand Towel
HOiSUM has a mountaineering enthusiasts' club, the HOiSUM Mountain Club.
This tenugui was created at the request of a club member.
In fact, the designer himself is a tenugui collector, which is how this item was created.
The dyeing method known as chusen dyeing makes it extremely difficult to achieve a black color, but this tenugui has been made possible thanks to the skills of the craftsmen at Todaya Shoten.
